Patolsky’s lab research is focused on applied research for the development of novel applications and technologies. We cover the entire spectrum, starting from basic nanostructures synthesis and basics of the nano science, to the development of ultrasensitive sensors and biosensors for the detection of molecular and biomolecular species. We have special interest on the coupling between biological phenomena and chemical reactions concerning the development of new sensing and diagnostic tools. In Liquid-Bx the lab collaborates with MSTech to advance our consortia goals.
We predict that sensing of large range of bio-markers from liquid biopsies will be key for the develiopment of the future diseases screening and diagnostics. In the context of this consortium we envision the development of a multiplexed lab-on-a-chip platform for the simultaneous detetion of multiple pancreatic cancer-related biomarkers for liquid-biopsy tiny samples, leading to the capability to fingerprint pancreatic cancer and perfoem early diagnosis of this lethal disease.
Develop new multiparametric sensing technologies for the rapid sensitive and analytical detection of multiple biomarkers related to pancreatic cancer, together with MSTeche Yossifon lab.
